CONVERTIDOS AL SEÑOR!

The El Faro missionaries are converted to the Lord! A few of our seasoned missionaries finished their service here and will soon be embraced by their family members.  We have learned so much from them. We will definitely miss their smiles, hugs, presence and their strong spirits. To share some of what these missionaries have learned on their missions, we have included some quotes from them.

Elders May and Bateman

New missionaries have also arrived in the mission!  We are so thrilled to meet the new missionaries coming in.  They will infuse the mission with new energy, hope, humility, and faith.  We thank their families for lending them to us for 18 months to 2 years.

Elder Phillips reunited with his family

"These last two years have truly been the best of my life. The Lord has taught me so much. I will be forever grateful for this opportunity the Lord has given me to be His servant here in Spain". – Elder Nathan Phillips

Hermana Frodge

"The mission has taught me a lot of things. The biggest thing has been learning to adapt to tough circumstances, and having confidence that the Lord will be there to support me wherever I am. The mission has helped me deepen my conversion and my love for my Heavenly Father".  -Elder Hunter Cobbley

Elder Whitehead

Hermana Bluth

"After two years of serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have learned that true happiness comes from following the teachings of Jesus Christ and keeping His commandments. I have also learned that obedience brings blessings, but exact obedience brings miracles. We should be progressing each and every single day so we can be who the Lord wants us to become. And I have learned that the gospel of Jesus Christ comes first in our lives."  - Elder Alexander Maybury

Hermana Frodge

"I have learned during my mission to be humble and to accept changes.  During our lives we will go through a lot, and we can decide to accept or reject change.  But life is a lot better if we accept change.  I know the prophet receives revelations for our lives"    -Elder Alexander Bateman

Hermana Daley

"The mission changes your life.  Well, that´s what everyone says.  Really it is amazing to see how Christ changes you. This is His church, and it is His work.  He can change you and the people around you.  That is the miracle of the mission."        -Elder Riley Joshua May

"The mission has been really good.  I learned so much and got to meet so many great people.  I am so happy to have served in Spain."    -Elder Ethan Lentz

Elder Lim

"The mission has helped me to learn where to put my priorities in life and has helped me to grow into a better disciple of Jesus Christ.  I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and as I trust him, he will help me in every step of life to learn and grow and be happy.  I have been able to convert myself and be a tool in the hands of the Lord to serve his children."   -Elder Cheever

Hermanas Stagg and Clegg

Elder Rippey

"God is so good.  He guides this work and it has been such a blessing to be a part of it.  I have learned that the gospel really is the only way to find true happiness in this world.  I have come to love the basic principles of the gospel and the mission is exactly what I needed.  I will forever be grateful for the experiences and love of God that I have felt in Spain."  -Hermana Jordanne Walker

Elders Otereo and Lim

Elders Welker, Miller and Pain

Hermana Campuzano
"In the mission I have learned how to recognize the spirit better and I am more capable to follow his promptings.  The Lord has taught me over and over again the need to rely on God and not on my own strength.  I have learned that miracles are only brought to pass after an act of faith.  I know that prayer is necessary to be able to talk to our Heavenly Father and receive personal revelation.  I love the Lord and His holy work!"   -Elder Justin Dransfield
